This June, we are proud to host a truly iconic piece of American aviation history as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Goodyear Blimp and our 70th year in business! Since its maiden flight in 1925, the Goodyear Blimp has become one of the most recognizable aircrafts in the world, and we're thrilled to offer our customers a chance to experience this legendary airship firsthand.

A Century in the Skies

For 100 years, the Goodyear Blimp has soared above sporting events, celebrations, and landmarks across the country. What began as an advertising concept has transformed into a beloved cultural icon that represents innovation, reliability, and American ingenuity – values we've always championed here at Sullivan Tire. The first Goodyear Blimp, the Pilgrim, took flight in 1925 and began a tradition that continues to captivate us all today. To highlight the 100th anniversary Goodyear has pulled out ALL the stops and has given the Blimp a makeover to mimic the vintage/original look it had in 1925. Making this special occasion even more unique and fun!

To celebrate this milestone, we’ve partnered with Goodyear to offer an unforgettable experience: a chance to win a ride aboard the Goodyear Blimp during its special centennial tour stop in our area this June!

Our exclusive giveaway will select lucky winners to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime aerial adventure aboard this American icon. Winners will experience the unique sensation of lighter-than-air flight while enjoying spectacular panoramic views from the blimp's gondola.

How to Enter

Entering our Goodyear Blimp Ride Giveaway is simple, just head here and enter to win between today, May 12 and June 12, 2025.

Winners will be announced on June 15th, with flights scheduled during the blimp's visit from June 24-26. In the event of inclement weather, the blimp will not be launched, and no alternate date will be scheduled.
