Sullivan Tire Participates in the "Ice Bucket Challenge" to Support those Affected by ALS

SULLIVAN TIRE EMPLOYEES DO “ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE” TO SUPPORT THOSE AFFECTED BY ALS

Company donates $10,000 to Peter Frates ALS Foundation

Norwell, Mass. (May 15, 2025) – More than two dozen employees of Sullivan Tire and Auto Service recently took part in the “ice bucket challenge” at the company’s Norwell headquarters. Led by Sullivan Tire Vice President of Marketing Paul Sullivan, the employees doused themselves in cold water in support of those affected by ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Sullivan Tire made a $10,000 donation to the Peter Frates ALS Foundation as part of the event.

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness and eventually paralysis.

“Many people have been affected by this dreadful disease called ALS,” said Paul Sullivan. “There have certainly been medical advances in recent years. However, much more needs to be done to support the needs of the families, and that’s what the Frates Foundation does so well. I’m proud of the Sullivan Tire community that came out on a cold rainy day to take part in the ice bucket challenge. It was a wonderful show of support for the work that the Peter Frates ALS Foundation continues to do.”
